Account Resource Limits

In order to ensure that we maintain the stability of our services, we limit the amount of resources each cPanel Account can use, we do this using software called CloudLinux. We usually find that most accounts will never (or very rarely) reach the limits that we set. The limits vary depending on which package you purchase, you can find information on the limits below:

Web Hosting Accounts

Startup Intermediate Ultimate Advanced Professional  Business
CPU 1 Core 1 Core 1 Core 2 Cores 3 Cores 4 Cores
Memory 1GB 2GB 2GB 4GB 6GB 8GB
I/O 25MB/s 25MB/s 25MB/s 50MB/s 50MB/s 50MB/s
Entry Processes 50 50 50 100 100 100

Reseller Hosting Accounts

Each individual cPanel account created by a Reseller has the following limits, please note that limits are assigned on a per cPanel Account basis and not per Reseller Account:

  • 1 CPU Core
  • 1GB of Virtual and Physical Memory
  • 25MB/s of I/O
  • 50 Entry Processes

If clients find that they are hitting particular limits on regular basis, you may contact us to discuss a possible upgrade of the limits.
